Kari and I talked on the phone as the election results came in. It was nice to share the thoughts of that moment with her.

I agree. It was great to share the events of last night via telephone with you-especially since we were watching the returns by ourselves. I won't ever forget it.
Onward and upward, right? During Bible Study this morning, my mom encouraged the group to pray for Obama's salvation.
Ooooh. Chills. Now THAT'S a way to be proactive about the future! Kinda makes me look at this thing in a different light.

This election will be a good test of trust -- the Bible itself says that "the authorities that exist have been established by God". Man--I'm really going to have to work hard to wrap my heart around this one...
