The Tooth Fairy Wants Her Cut of the Stimulus Money

Hannah is trying to single handedly break the Tooth Fairy. She has a toothless grin that is too cute for words.

She lost this one while we were visiting friends. This is when she went to look at herself in the mirror and then came back and proclaimed, "My cuteness is totally wiped out now."

She had a dental check up just before we went out of town and the dentist gave her this little yellow case to put her teeth in for the Tooth Fairy. Kudos to her mommy for remembering to pack it. Major kudos to her mommy for remembering to put it under her pillow in the craziness that is a trip away from home. Major props to the Tooth Fairy for finding her while we were on the road.

This is not the best picture of Hannah (show me a picture of anyone else looking great first thing in the morning), but she had just found her dollar from the Tooth Fairy. She thinks the Tooth Fairy was trying to trick her because she folded the dollar and put it inside the yellow case.

Last night the kids and I were watching a movie in the living room and Hannah had been complaining that she was uncomfortable. I told her to go get her pillow off her bed. She didn't want to miss any of the movie so she didn't go get it.

After a while she started crying saying, "This is uncomfortable." She is prone to extra crying and whining when she is tired and it was past her regular bedtime. I told her again to go get her pillow. She said, "No. It's because of my tooth." I looked and her tooth was bleeding and sideways. I told her to go to the bathroom and I got her a cup to rinse.

She asked for a napkin and I grabbed a couple while she was still crying that it felt uncomfortable.

I was hoping the tooth would just fall out if she swished the water around hard enough. Oh, no. That would have been too easy. Instead I was given the privilege of grabbing the bloody tooth with a napkin and pulling it out of my youngest child's head. That is probably a little more dramatic than it actually was, but not something I would want to do over and over again. As soon as the tooth was out, she calmed down.

There are at least three more loose teeth in this house.

She's too cute. Her cute look has definitely not been wiped away! Oh, btw, L'il Sis keeps trying to wiggle her teeth and keeps telling me her tooth is loose. (It's not.) And Big Sis insisted on getting some training bras today. We'll see if she wears them. Just part of the legacy of our time together!

How cute, but Jody, I would never have PULLED her tooth! It kind of grosses me out - I make them do it, if they want it out bad enough!

I, for one, am loving the drama factor with the reference to "pulling it out of her head." ;-) That was awesome!

And yes, she is pretty darn cute. Even early in the morning.
Lucky girl!
