I don't have a fire and I don't think it is delightful. Honestly! This is the last week in April and it is snowing!!! Having a white Christmas is always on my wish list, but a white end of April, not so much. My friends Shannon and Doug would love this. I on the other hand thought spring was here. I'm not naive enough to think the temps would stay in the 70s and 80s, but I really didn't think we would see more snow. Hannah and I were just watching a pair of geese with seven brand new goslings in the pond out back this afternoon. Poor little things are probably goosesicles by now! I do so miss the desert!! Of course, I took pictures. I couldn't get Hannah or P.K. to venture outside in their pajamas so I took pictures of our cars and a tree.

Yuck! Everybody repeat after me: NO MORE SNOW!!!!! One of Gregg's friends called last night and asked "have you looked out your window lately?" That's when we discovered the white stuff coming down.
Your poor little goosicles. Our mama robin is undeterred. I so wanted to go out and put a little blanket on her or something. Poor thing. Oh the things we mamas go through for the kids . . .
OH JODY. YUCK. We all threw on our winter coats last night as we trekked out to Awana awards. For heaven's sake, will winter never end? It's unreal...we were teased with 70 degree temps and now THIS?
On a different note, I so appreciated your thoughts on my latest post with regard to schooling. What you shared was very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to write such a thoughtful post.
Blessings!

HA HA!! That's what you get for posting "sure signs of Spring".
Ok, I'm going to go against the grain and just say that I would SO take your snow for you if I could!!! We've been waiting since November of last year for some good snow and have seen almost none... I will hope for you that you've seen the last of it and if God is going to dump any more of the white stuff, he plays a good trick on VA and sends it here instead of there! :) Hang on, there's always a sunny day on the way... :) XOXO,Sassy
I think it looks beautiful. Being down here in the deep south, where we are already dealing with the heat and the mosquitoes, I'd trade you anyday!
Yeah, I'll trade you the snow for the mosquitos, too!
The grass is always greener....
