Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there in bloggyland! My kids and husband are downstairs right now preparing for my arrival. My kids get so excited about Mother's Day or my birthday. I love that! Hannah was awake at first light declaring it is Mother's Day and mommy needed to get up to open presents. P.K. told her to let me sleep a little longer. They are taking me out to lunch today to a restaurant of my choice, but I know the kids really want to eat at Red Robin. I'll probably give in.
I wanted to share this picture of my neighbor, her hubby and their babies. There are two families of geese in the pond with a total of 13 babies. I love watching them. Each day the babies get a little more brave and stray farther away from their parents. If anything startles them, they waddle (and I do mean waddle)back to mom and dad as fast as they can.

Sounds like a nice Mother's Day, and I would love to have a pond with Ducks for neighbors! How sweet.
