May we as a nation never take for granted the time, energy and sacrifice made by
...those who wear the uniform, past or present.
...those who leave their families time after time.
...those who fight for our freedom.
...those who stand watch and keep us safe.
...those who take the fight to the enemy in order to keep the enemy off of our soil.
...those who don't argue the politics of every decision and just follow orders.
...those who give their very lives in the name of freedom.
...those who are married to service members and make everything work out at home.
...those who didn't see their loved ones come home alive.
...those who lay down their lives.

Very well said, my friend!
Oh, and great pics of PK! At least he has a hint of smile. Stretch just glowers in his official pics and then tells me he was smiling on the inside!
Yes - amen to all of that!
If Clay would let me, I'd post a picture of him - though he hasn't taken a picture in full uniform in a while.
Amen and amen! Please give PK a hug and tell him it's from me and that I say thank you. He is one of the ones I thought about on Monday as I was thinking about how many people I know who are either serving or have families serving in the military right now. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to every man and women serving our country right now.
