Rachel reached another milestone today. She started Middle School. I felt like she was starting kindergarten all over again. She didn't want me to help her anymore today than she did back then. It was all I could do to keep myself from jumping out of the car and walking her to her class to make sure she found her room with no problem. I did offer, but I got that tween eye roll and a "Mom, I've got this." She had a great day. She is in all advanced classes. No surprise there. She is P.K.'s kid.

Oh, Jody!!!!! How is it that we have middle schoolers?? I still think of us as "YOUNG" moms! She looks like she was ready to rock the middle school world. I hope she loves it! (And might I remind---those advanced classes are not JUST because of her daddy! Her mom is sharp as a tack too!!!)
Jody, I thought my kids were starting school early! Mine start Monday. Jalyn starts Middle School too! I am so not ready for that, but I think it will be more fun than elementary school - no more walking in a line! Great pics - my kids are so jealous - they have had to wear uniforms every year they have been in school - Public school too!
