I received an email from a friend yesterday who "claims" she is not a cyber-stalker, but she was just wondering what happened to my blog posts. I know I have been neglecting the ol' blog. I guess there hasn't been anything too eventful happening. It seems to be feast or famine. There are either so many things I want to blog about, but want to give them separate entries or there is just nothing out of the ordinary to post. However, I love that I have friends who cyber-stalk me.
We did have a big thunderstorm come through last night that was capable of producing baseball size hail. Yes, I said baseball. According to the meteorologist on the Weather Channel, baseball size hail can shatter a windshield. Thankfully, I think we didn't get anything bigger than dime size. It seems that the storms like to hit here after the kids are sound asleep and we have to wake them up and drag them to the basement once a tornado warning has been issued or they hit right when P.K. is getting off of work which was the case last night. The hail started about 8:05 and he called just a few minutes later to say he was heading home. He has about a 30 mile commute. He waited an hour and then headed home in time to experience the hail first hand on his drive home. I know when I am checking up on the blogs that I stalk, I am always very happy to see a picture to go along with the story. So for those of you who are my regular stalkers, I risked life and limb to bring you this picture.
I've also been wanting to share this.

My friend, Becky, cross-stiched it for me. She said she thought it went well with the blog title. I think she is hinting that I owe her a whole lot of money for all the phone therapy.
We are nearing the end of the school year which means things are about to get really busy. That means all my blog fans (a.k.a. cyber-stalkers) should have lots of material to read.

I'm glad someone else cyber-stalked you first--I was just about ready to do the same thing. :)
Becky--I LOVE the cross stitch--that's classic!
Here's hoping that you have FUN exciting things to blog about in the near future...
I love the cross stitch as well and am so thankful I haven't had to pay for a shrink either. YET! Thanks to you, I have a much cheaper alternative! ;-)
Thanks also for risking your life in photographing the hail. You're a much better person than I, as I do things like send my hubby with a camera to photograph ferocious killer squirrels. You deserve the red badge of courage!
We get so many tornado warnings here, and have no basement. Sadly, we usually do nothing about them - but will occasionally take the kids into my closet - if one is actually spotted nearby.
What will you be doing that you will be so busy when school is out?
Love the cross-stitch. Back before I had kids - I used to do such things!
Wow - that cross-stitch is beautiful!!!! I wish I knew Becky really well too :)
Kristy,
I meant we are going to be busy with end of the year activities at school. We are then thankfully going to have a rest!
Love the picture of the hail. It hailed here last Thursday, and a friend called me, all excited about it and wanting to "share" it with someone. The hail stopped so I walked up to get Allison from school, then it started again on the way home. Thankfully we both had umbrellas.
I love that you love the cross-stitch!
I think the last thing I cross-stitched was when I was pregnant with Maeve! Love the one your friend made for you -- it would make a great header for your blog.
