Marine Wife left a comment on my previous post and suggested that the cross-stitch Becky made for me would make an excellent header for my blog. Why didn't I think of that? Perhaps because I like to maintain the status quo. But Marine Wife is a wise woman and I thought her idea was wonderful.
In case you missed the announcement when I first started this blog, I am not computer savvy. I've noticed that several friends had personalized their headers but I didn't know how. Thankfully, Blogger is designed for those of us who are, ahem, less than experts.
Once I changed the header, the background didn't look just right. I said good-bye which wasn't easy. It has been a good background and has greeted my cyber-stalkers well. I have a habit of attaching my memories to objects. You should have heard the stories I had attached to my mixer I received as a wedding gift when it quit working after 13 years of service. You can imagine that I have grown accustomed to my old background.
I think I am really going to like the new set up. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. This would be a great time for those of you who read but don't comment to leave a comment. You can leave it as anonymous and just type your name in the text if you would like. No pressure. It is just fun to know who is around. I hope all of my regular stalkers like the change.

I love the change. The background is such a pretty brown, and the colors of the mugs pop. And I am honored to be a part of your blog.

I love the change - but wasn't your old background brown too Jody? I can't remember. It doesn't look like you changed THAT much - but love the header.

Yes, the old background was brown, but had a white flower/vine kind of design on the left that didn't flow well with the new header. Funny...it is a neutral color just like my make up. Silly.
I love being one of your cyber-stalkers, and I loved your old background. I like this new one too. I really like the customized header.
So is my makeup Jody - neutral/brown. I change the colors on my blog more often than I make changes on myself!
Well, it DID throw me for a minute...but I like it! Looks great! A new, pretty page with which to cyber-stalk you! (And I mean that in the nicest way!)
